Terms of Service
Last updated: June 25, 2026
These terms govern your use of ContextSave, a Chrome extension and web app for saving, summarizing, searching, organizing, and exporting your AI chatbot conversations. By installing or using ContextSave, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
The service
ContextSave is provided free of charge and has no paid plans. AI features (summaries, Ask Memory, and digests) run on an AI provider API key that you supply yourself (“bring your own key”). You are responsible for any usage and costs billed by your chosen AI provider, and for complying with that provider's terms.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and your AI provider key secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
Acceptable use
- Do not use ContextSave for unlawful purposes or to store unlawful content.
- Do not attempt to break, overload, reverse engineer, or abuse the service or its infrastructure.
- Do not use it in a way that violates the terms of any AI provider whose key you connect.
Your content
You own the conversations and data you save. You grant ContextSave the limited permission needed to store and process that content solely to provide the service to you (for example, generating summaries using your AI key). We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Donations
ContextSave is free. Any donations are voluntary, are not a purchase of the service or of any feature, and are generally non-refundable.
Disclaimers
ContextSave is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. AI-generated summaries and answers may be inaccurate or incomplete; do not rely on them as your sole source of truth. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost, so keep your own backups of anything important (you can export your data at any time).
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ContextSave and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the service.
Termination
You may stop using ContextSave and delete your data at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are violated or to comply with the law.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
